Bjelin develops and manufactures a broad product portfolio of both traditional wooden floors and new innovative floors in new materials. The development is done in collaboration with the sister company Välinge Innovation AB, best known as the inventor of the click floor. Manufacturing takes place in state-of-the-art factories in Sweden and in northern Croatia.
Bjelin, which today has about 900 employees, with production facilities in Viken (Sweden) and in Bjelovar, Ogulin and Otok (northern Croatia), is expanding production capacity in the next few years to meet the increasing demand for mainly wider planks in hardened wood and click sticks for glue-free installation of herringbone parquet. In beginning of 2020, Robot Factory delivered a new turnkey packaging line for herringbone parquet to one of Bjelin´s factories in Croatia. The packaging line is connected to both a profiling line and a UV painting line. The new automated packaging line significantly increases the production capacity, completely eliminates manual work and previous transports between workstations.
